The vintage period had a way with pictures, and it was something special. Back then, everything looked good in black and white. Black and white was a way of life, if you wanted anything remembered for a long time, capture it with your monochromatic camera. There is something about seeing pictures in black and white that just leaves you in awe and makes you want to be there. The feeling is quite unexplainable. As a photographer or photo lover, sometimes it could be nice to tap into your inner vintage, feel free to take as many as you need to, your best work might just come out of it. Over my entire career, I have taken to many picture in black and white, all based on my instinct that they would look better that way, and they did. This is a gallery that showcases some of my best vintage style photography works, I have taken so many black and white photography shots and I really hope you love them.
I also hope this gallery inspires you to come up with various vintage pieces of your own. When doing this, there is a tendency for you to want to overthink things a little, don’t do that. Go with your normal flow of concepts and keep at it till you get something beautiful. I would honestly like to tell you that there is a process to it but there really isn’t, its 90% your judgement. So you would be right to think that some level of experience comes into play…it does, which is why you need to keep practicing and learning to get better at honing your craft. I have taken so many black and white photography shots over the years and they have come out so well, I decided to put them all together in a single gallery, in hopes that they inspire you to recreate your own styles.
